VATThe Enphase MC4 adapter is required when building a PV installation based on Enphase components in order to connect PV panels with MC4 connectors to Enphase IQ7 series microinverters. To be able to disconnect the adapter from the connector on the microinverter, the Enphase connector unlocking tool must be used. The use of other tools may damage the connectors in such a way that the new connection will not be airtight which may cause moisture to penetrate the connector.
Attention IMPORTANT!
- Use the special Enphase tool to disconnect the adapter from the Enphase microinverter.
- Disconnecting AC plugs must be done with the AC side of the mains switched off. There is a real risk of electric shock.
