The OneMeter Home PV is the latest product on the photovoltaic market. This solution assists in the efficient utilization of electricity from renewable energy sources.

The principle of operation is simple—the OneMeter is mounted on the optical port of a two-way meter (a list of compatible meters is available on onemeter.com/supported-meters) and installed using a mobile application available for Android smartphones. From the moment of installation, the OneMeter collects energy data every 15 minutes, both from and to the network, and when the data is transferred to the OneMeter Cloud platform (via a smartphone), it presents it in the form of tables and charts. Thanks to this solution, the users are aware of the time of day when they consume the most energy and how much excess energy they provide to the grid. The device is powered by a 3 V CR2032 battery (“coin”), which is user-replaceable (usually after about 12 months).

The absence of a negative impact on the operation of the energy consumption meter was confirmed by tests carried out at the Institute of Communications.
