The Venus GX is the communication centre of the entire system. The Venus panel allows users to transmit commands to all components in the system and ensures they are working in harmony. Monitoring of live data and changing settings is done from your smartphone (or another device) via our free Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal.

Immediately after “logging in,” the Venus GX panel presents a live overview of the system data: battery charge status, current energy consumption, power drawn from the PV system, power supplied from the mains/generator.

The Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal provides full access to a very wide range of controls and settings for all system components that are connected to the Venus GX panel. It enables remote users and installers to log in from any place and at any time. This powerful application also provides seamless diagnostics and functions for analysing archived information.

Automatic generator startup/shutdown

The Venus GX can be programmed to automatically start the generator triggered by low voltage, high energy demand, or battery charge state. Moreover, it can be adjusted to delay ignition until the end of “quiet” periods to avoid accidental discomfort in the middle of the night.

The remote console provides visual access to live Venus GX data and settings from anywhere in the world.

24-hour monitoring of energy storage systems

The Venus GX panel manages energy storage systems. It keeps backup batteries fully charged, turns on power during power outages, and redirects excess power from photovoltaic cells as energy for self-consumption, thus generating savings.
